If you are travelling on Thomas Cook Airline flights you can purchase seats with extra leg room either online or at check-in, subject to availability.

We have a selected number of seats on board offering additional legroom for extra comfort. These seats are adjacent to emergency exits, Company and Civil Aviation Authority regulations apply. If you'd like to reserve one, simply call us no later than 4 working days before your departure and we'll make the arrangements. Exit seats are next to the emergency exit doors and can be cold, appropriate clothing is required.

Important Information

 To sit in an exit seat you must be physically fit and fully mobile, with no back, neck or leg problems, also not requiring an extension seat belt. Pregnant women and children under the age of 16 years old cannot be seated at the exit seats. You must also be prepared in the event of an emergency to assist the cabin crew if requested.

Prices:

From £17.50 per flight per adult for a Short Haul flight
(Flight time of up to 3 hours)

From £30.00 per flight per adult for all Medium Haul flights
(Flight time of between 3 to 7 hours)

From £40.00 per flight per adult for all Long Haul flights
(Flight time of 7 hours and more including Gambia)

In the unlikely event that our check-in staff or cabin crew should judge that you are unsuitable for these seats, you will be assigned another seat.

Please be aware that services, such as seat selection (including extra leg room), additional baggage allowances, sports equipment, special assistance etc can only be booked directly with Thomas Cook Airlines if your departure date for any flights is before the 16^th April 2012.  If your departure date is after the 16^th April 2012 you will be able to add the above from the 12^th March 2012. 

Please be aware your booking has to be confirmed for 3 days or more and all flights are closed within four days of departure, therefore not able to add any services within this time.
