Pre-bookable excess baggage
You can now increase your baggage allowance before you fly – allowing you to take those extra items at reduced rates!
Available on all routes except to and from Canada.
For an extra 5kg the charge is £35 per person each way – short/mid haul destinations
For an extra 10kg the charge is £70 per person each way - short/mid haul destinations
For an extra 5kg the charge is £45 per person each way - long haul destinations
For an extra 10kg the charge is £90 per person each way - long haul destinations
Short haul flight is under 3 hours duration
Mid haul flights include the following destinations: Turkey, Canary Islands, Cyprus, Morocco, Egypt, Gambia, Malta, Bulgaria and Tunisia, Greece and the Greek Islands
Long haul flight 7 hours and over
Simply call us no later than 3 working days before your departure.
UK Airports Only
The Overseas stations listed below are unable to collect excess baggage payments.
With effect from Monday 1st March 2010 ‘round trip ’ excess baggage payments can be collected at the UK airport. Where customers elect to pay for ‘round trip’ a discount of £1 per kg on both sectors can be applied. If a customer refuses to pay ‘round trip ’ e.g. claiming that they are not bringing the same baggage amount back then they must be charged one way but at standard rates for that route.
